Here are four basic car rental tips in Indonesia.

Before Renting a Car

The bottom line before you reserve a rental car is getting a good deal right?

  • Ensure you provide a detailed itinerary so we can give you the appropriate quotation
  • Check the detailed rental package. We usually provided as follows:
    • Included: Gasoline, Driver, Car Insurance and Free in-car Wifi
      Excluded: Parking, Toll, and entrance fee Overtime 10% per hours from total price
      Additional Rp 100.000 charge to explore Lembang, Ciwidey or Padalarang area
  • Our agent can help you choose the correct car that will fit the luggage and passenger.
  • Ensure your car rental is in good condition by asking us the car photos
  • You will also received Booking Confirmation via email or chat
  • Driver details will be given 2 days prior to your arrival

Meeting With The Driver

We will sent the driver details 2 Days prior to your arrival, you can chat with our driver before the arrival.

Please make sure you’re meeting with the right driver by matching the license plate, car make and model, and booking confirmation with what’s provided to you.  Never get in a car where the vehicle or driver identity doesn't match what’s displayed in the booking confirmation.

Term and condition

Use and care of Rental Car

The Client acknowledges and agrees that Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks and other narcotic substances in the Vehicle is prohibited.

The safety of the Client and driver

Drving involves Risks. The Client agrees that despite such Risks the Client wants to
participate in the service and/or hire and use the rental car, and accepts sole responsibility for: (a) the Car; and (b) the safety of the Client and others.

Overtime charge

Overtime will be charged a after the usage with 10% rate from the total bill per day, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Competent to use the service

The Client warrants that all persons who will use the rental car will use the service in the manner it was designed to be used, will follow any directions from our Driver relating to the use and safety of the trip, and will comply with all laws and obligations in relation to the use and control of the car.
No modifications to the car.

The Client will not change or modify the car

The Client will not change or modify the rental car without prior agreement. If the Client changes or modifies the car without  agreement, such changes or modifications will be considered damage and will be charge accordingly.

Responsible for any damage

The Client is not responsible for any damage to, or loss of, the Equipment during the Hire Period. The Client will notify Dirgantara immediately if the car is damaged or lost, and will follow all reasonable instructions from our agent or driver.

In the case of damage

In the case of damage to the car caused deliberately by the Client. Client will be responsible for and will pay Dirgantara for the full cost of all repairs, including the cost of replacing any damaged parts and any labor to restore the car to the condition it was in at the commencement of the Hire Period. For the avoidance of doubt, Dirgantara has the sole right to reasonably determine: (a) whether the rental has been damaged during the Hire Period; (b) whether such damage is beyond reasonable wear and tear; (c) the extent of such damage; and (d) the full cost of the repairs required.

Time of service usage

Your rental starts and finishes according to the pick-up and drop-off dates and times detailed in the invoice. We are unable to provide refunds for unused time if a car finish off early

End of service

The Renter or the Driver shall return to the Company the Rental Vehicle at the specified agreed place at or before the expiration of the rental period.

Payment

  • For pickup outside of Bandung full payment is required upon booking. Payment will be made via the secure online booking system.
  • For payment you can pay cash directly to our driver, Bank Transfer or Credit Card onlineFor Down Payment the Client agrees to pay a 25% to Dirgantara upon booking and the remaining balance after the usage: (a) upon receipt of payment request via online booking system; or (b) bank transfer into the following

  • The Client also agrees to pay all applicable: International credit card payments fee rate of 4.4% + $.30 (using Paypal)
  • If the Client fails to pay the Down Payment at least 3 days before the start date, Dirgantara reserves the right to cancel, amend or modify the Client’s reservation at its sole discretion.
  • Payment of all or part of the total price (including payment by credit card) is acceptance of these T&Cs.
    Changes to Bookings /Cancellation
  • If the service becomes unavailable for the Hire Period due to circumstances beyond Dirgantara control (such as theft, fire, earthquake, or damage from an earlier hire contract), Dirgantara will use its best efforts to offer the Client a suitable alternative. If Dirgantara is unable to offer a suitable alternative, the Client will be entitled to a full refund of any monies paid to Dirgantara.
  • No refunds will be made for early returns, late pickups, no-shows or change of mind.
